Jaa niin tässähän on Smäkkärikin mukana? No kyllä sitten on paljon parempia vaihtoehtoja. Nuo nyt vaan tuli mieleen, kun kummatkin kohtuu uusia kavereita main event kuvioissa. RAW:n puolelta myös Morrison tai Miz vois olla oivia. Ellei Miz sitten ole cäshännyt voitokkaasti salkkuaan, mitä kyllä epäilen. Itehän tietysti kannatan Del Rioa ja viimeisen KOTR:n voittajan kouluttamaa Bryania, kun Punkkikin taitaa loukkaantunut olla ja Jericho tuskin paluuta vielä tekee.

E: Jees olihan viimeisimmässäkin ECW ja SD mukana. Muistin viimisestä KOTR:stä vain Regalin, Punkin (muistin olleen RAW:ssa jo) Jerichon ja Hornswogglen.

WWE has reportedly resigned Sean 'Van Venis' Morley, according to indy promoters who have attempted to book him in recent weeks.

According to a source, WWE is supposedly flying Morley to Europe on 11/7 to join up with the RAW crew. He may be coming in as an agent/producer but we're not sure about that just yet.

Val Venis on näitä ikuisia alipushattuja tapauksia WWE:n toimesta. Vaikea kuvitella, mitä järkevää Venikselle yhtäkkiä keksittäisiin, kun viime runillaan häntä ei osattu käyttää oikein ja lopulta seurasi potkut. Agentin rooli voisi toimia tai jobbaamaan nuoremmille tähdille.

In an effort to protect the health of wrestlers and reduce the frequency of concussions, TNA Wrestling has banned unprotected chair shots to the head, according to Ken Anderson.

Anderson told the Between The Ropes radio show this week, “TNA has absolutely thrown down the gauntlet and said no more unprotected chair shots… And every time there is a chair involved in the ring, the agents will come up and say please make sure for me that you are not going to … that you’re going to put your hand up. Please tell me you’re going to put your hand up or it’s going to be a back shot or something like that.”
Anderson, who is currently out of action after a chair shot from Jeff Hardy busted his head open and caused a concussion, says even when wrestlers try to protect each other, accidents happen.

“The chair shot that I received from Jeff Hardy was not intended to hit the back of my head. I heard through the grapevine that there were some people who were concerned about that. That was an accident and, you know what, in our business, accidents are going to happen.”

Throughout the taping, TNA plugged that fans could take their picture with Jeff Hardy at the end of the taping for $25. However, when it came time for Hardy to come out, he insulted Jeremy Borash (who had introduced him to the crowd) and told the fans to go take their money and "go buy groceries."

Hardy then went to the back and didn't return. After several minutes, TNA and Universal Studios employees, who were completely confused and caught off guard by the situation, began refunding the money.

There were quite a few fans, particularly families with young children, that were upset about the scene. I can't imagine that was a planned spot, since it took place at the end of the night and it wouldn't have served any purpose to get the crowd to turn against Hardy at that point.

No eipä Jeffiä muuten meinata saada kovin kovaksi heeliksi. Itse tykkään, että kayfabea pidetään edes jokseenkin yllä "vapaa-ajallakin". En ihmettelisi, vaikka muille TNA:n työntekijöille oltaisiin tästä jätetty informoimatta, ihan vain siksi, että saatiin tilanne näyttämään aidommalta.

WCW:n johtoportaan älynväläyksiin kuului sellaista nerokkuutta kuten oikean vapautussopimuksen lähettäminen Brian Pillmanille osana juonikuviota, jonka Pillman toki itse allekirjoitti ja loikkasi ECW:hen ja sieltä edelleen WWF:ään. Kayfaben ylläpitämisessäkin voidaan mennä liian pitkälle. Easy E on toki jälkikäteen koittanut seivailla kämmiään väittämällä että tarkoittikin irtisanoa Pillmanin, mutta siihen ei hänen lisäkseen usko varmaankaan kuin Dixie ja Hogan. Sullivan ainakin totesi että kyseessä oli Ericin kämmi ja Pillmanin loistava vedätys.

William Regal Announces his Retirement

A Youtube video of William Regal's announcement that he would be retiring soon has leaked online.

In the video, which picks up mid-speech, Regal comments, "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much from all of the WWE Superstars to each and every one of you, for coming out and supporting us each and every week and every year, when we come here. There's something, just a little over 27 years that I've been doing this now. As you can see, there's an incredible, wonderful crop of WWE Superstars coming up. Maybe this is my last tour, so thank you very much. Please, believe me, this is a wonderful way to end it all. Thank you."

William Regal jää eläkkeelle lähitulevaisuudessa, hänen ilmoitettua tämänhetkisen Englannin-kiertueen olevan hänen viimeinen. Hieno mies ja hieno painija, joka olisi mielestäni ansainnut yhden maailmanmestaruuskauden uralleen.

Regal on yksi suurimmista suosikeistani, joten hieman haikea fiilishän tuli, kun tuohon uutiseen törmäsin. Ei tuo nyt tietenkään hirveän suurena yllätyksenä tullut. Ja voihan tätä ajatella niinkin, että onneksi on ylipäätään häntä nämä viimeiset vuodet saanut katsella, kun aikoinaan puhuttiin, että hänen uransa olisi niiden sydänvaivojen takia historiaa. Toivottavasti häntä nyt sitten vielä nähtäisiin tv:ssäkin ennen kuin ura lopullisesti päättyy. Feudi tai edes yksi matsi Daniel Bryania vastaan olisi loistavuutta.

Viime viikollahan Wrestling Observer uutisoi, että Regal on tehnyt uuden sopimuksen WWE:n kanssa, joten backstagehommiin hän varmasti piakkoin siirtyy.

Regal has signed a 42 month contract renewal. Now 42, that would have him under contract until his 46th birthday. Now WWE has the right to cancel these deals at any time. Regal is extremely well respected by most of the wrestlers and he’s the type of a guy I can see as a trainer or an agent when they decide his active career is over. Since they really don’t do much with him, offering him that long an extension seems to indicate they’ve got plans for him past his in-ring career.

Kyllähän Regal on hieno painija ja hieno mies. Viime vuotisessa RAW'ssa Helsingissä yksi parhaimmista hetkistä oli nimenomaan Regalin saapuminen.
